    Good, breathable headphones

DT770 are some of the most comfortable headphones I own however they do make your ears sweat after a good, long duration of using them. In your case I think the Sennheiser HD 598 are your best option.

    Looking for Decent, Cheap Headphones

The above headphone is my first recommendation. They are within your budget at below $50. They leak little to no sound and it is overall, a well-rounded headphone sound-signature wise. Another recommendation is the Koss ProDJ100. Priced at below $50, the build quality is better than the...

    which speakers to buy?

Last thing, considering that I have never heard these speakers in person myself I believe it is best if you take my post with a grain of salt. If possible, I would HIGHLY recommend you to audition these speakers yourself to make your decision.

    which speakers to buy?

The T40s are a speaker set I have always seen recommended when someone needs a decent speaker system that is budget friendly. The T40s are a well-rounded speaker system and by that I have read that they perform decent for both movies, music and games. The Creative I-Trigue speaker system in...

Recommend a subwoofer to go with M-Audio BX5 and Soundblaster ZxR

Good points. OP, how do you plan to use these speakers? Majority music, games, or movies, etc?

    Looking for new speakers

I hear you lol. So what are you going to for? Just to let you know, the Pioneer SP-22, like all bookshelf speakers, will require an amp as well.

    Looking for new speakers

For your budget I cannot imagine a better option than this unless you go second-hand of course... Micca MB42 Speakers + Lepai LP-2020A+ T-Amp. This would set you around $100 including the speaker wire and banana plugs. For the price, I cannot imagine anything performing close when you are...

No more desktop sets up, I want to go big!

I believe you cannot go wrong with a pair of Polk Audio Monitor 60s which are currently on sale for as low as I can ever remember.. Combine this with a receiver with some decent power and you are good to go.

    Need a 55 inch TV

Here's an absolutely better TV for the price. LG 55LA6900. Here another option you guys could explore. However, the odds of it being available at your local store are slim: LG 55LS4500

Help finding an inexpensive AV receiver with HDMI upconversion?

I have no experience purchasing a receiver from accessories4less but I have heard nothing but positive things from that site on many forums. The Panny VSX 1023 does do 4k passthrough but no HDMI upconversion of any sort based on what I see on a Pioneer Receiver comparision chart from it's...

Help finding an inexpensive AV receiver with HDMI upconversion?

If you do not mind purchasing a refurbished receiver I believe you should have a look at the refurbished Denon AVR 1913 at accessories4less. It upscales to 1080p and Denon has a better track record of producing reliable receivers. Accesories4less is an Denon authorized online dealer so the unit...

speaker fell off stand and the terminals broke off :(

I can vouch for the Blu tack. This is what I use for my speaker stands and it definitely does the job. I have read it also isolates your speakers from vibration to some extent.
