Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I use the w2207h at work, the smaller brother of the w2408h, and the glare is utterly ridiculous. The window behind me makes it nearly impossible to see half the screen at any given time. But if glare doesn't bother you, the monitor is quite decent for colors and blacks.
The only problem I see with the LCD monitor in the two pictures (the original post a page ago, not the cropped ones on this page) are darkening in the lower corners. Since most action in a game better be towards the middle of the screen these darker spots are hardly a showstopper.
I just bought a V2400W and haven't noticed any input lag at all while gaming. I dont use AMA and I dont know what DC means. Vertical angles arent the best but I didnt want to spend $600 or whatever for one with better angles.
Me wonders why there are no 24" plasma screens. I would have snatched one of those up in a heartbeat instead of waiting a year to research LCD's.
On another note, I am kind of perplexed why the digital age is behind the old analog age in so many ways. I had digital cable for a few months...
The Best Buy's in my area have tons of monitors to view - however, each time I went to there these monitors were showing a horribly low resolution, blah color video of the Rolling Stones with 85% of the video being black. A few times, I asked the worker if they could put a high resolution PC...
I just got my V2400W from the online store and love the heck out of it. I went from a 5-6 year old CRT that was on its last legs and the V2400W is a massive step up for me. I have never seen a MVA/PVA/IPS in person so I cant compare it to these.
BenQ's online store has a better return...
I don't know why the V2400W is free shipping. Every other monitor I added to the cart had $30 or so for standard shipping except for the V2400W. The "thankyou10" code worked as well, so the final price was $423 ($439 - $43.9 + $28 for Minnesota tax) which I jumped all over. Anyone who is...
I called the number I originally called and they told me that the online store has a different policy than their "other" policy. They gave me the number for the online store, I called, and they told me that an LCD monitor can indeed be returned within 30 days.
Sorry for any confusion!
