Hmm, I'd imagine this gross discrepancy is due to wildly inaccurate equipment, but according to that review the TV has a contrast ratio of 2500:1 According to the review I've linked below, the 42" has a contrast ratio of 4310:1... -

Unfortunately as I'm sure you'll agree this seems unlikely. Is the larger gamut necessarily a bad thing? I'm not that technically aware of what this means. A larger range of colours? Does this mean colour inaccuracy then? -
