My headphones are wireless (Audeze Maxwell), but I tried the AUX connector on them and couldn't even get them working with the back panel line-out. Would have to dig up some other speakers or headphones somewhere to test multiple audio devices with this.

If you download the Realtek Audio Console from their website there is an option in the gear icon towards the top right of the window: I stopped using the onboard audio because the ALC4080 is notoriously bad with popping noises at the start of playback. It's suspected to be because of overly...

My favorite Voodoos. I wanted a Spectra 2500 back in the day so badly for that internal passthrough with their Voodoo 2s. I ended up getting one around 15 years ago and still have it. Had trouble getting it working at first. Hope it still works. 🤔 Not sure if I have any pics of the setup.

Same. Canopus FTW. Last time I fired the system up my Spectra 2500 was on the fritz... so maybe not working now.

Same here. Problem free experience. I no longer overclock, though. These days I just set the XMP profile and move on.

I wish I had know that before finishing Deathkings of the Dark Citadel. So many respawning centaurs. I was using the Cleric's poison flasks to take them out and it was such a time waster. Never played that expansion back in the day and I was not impressed by the end. Vestiges of Grandeur seems...

I've been playing older games here and there, but I'm technically cheating by abusing save states. I just don't have the time or patience anymore to run out of continues and start a game from the beginning, so I'll save before a difficult section. Another thing is that many Japanese versions of...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pANcjjPnzgw They bring up Heretic 2 a few times so they're definitely aware of its absence. The first two games were apparently a simple project after the Doom 1 + Doom 2 release. I'd forgotten that the rights were all tangled up until the MS buyout of...

I had to look where the heck the enhancement settings were. You need to press tab when you're selecting difficulty when you start a new game. Hope that helps anyone that's curious. Enhancements are on by default.

Nice. I'm with you on wishing there was a Heretic 2 remaster. That's the one I never played. I heard it's a PITA to get running on modern systems. I think Hexen 2 at least has a source port.

Definitely going to wait and see how it pans out. Is the location at 1:15 Kubra Dam from BF2?

Definitely going to keep my eyes on this one. Is the third game worth playing? I remember it had a poor reception when it came out, but I'm wondering if now that enough time has passed if that reaction was overblown.

I just finished my playthrough at 60 hours. Almost got all of the achievements, but I don't know if I want to get the rest or move on. One of them would require replaying a bit of the game just because I didn't get all three tokens at the beginning of the game. Apparently that matters for one of...

I already dumped 85 hours into this and I basically wrapped up my game, but I really hope they fix the issue where if you paralyze an enemy with your bow, re-proc'ing paralysis with a subsequent shot will crash your game. Kind of a big one since it's a marksman perk.

This game was such a total surprise. Honestly wasn't expecting to like it going in, but gave it a chance based on the hype and now it's one of my all time favorites. Thought I'd become so jaded I wouldn't be interested in a new game. Even my wife is interested in the game. Just passed the 20...
