    Just an FYI to anyone reading this comment, but I run dual GTX560TIs, and my frame rate and problems went away when I went with one card. A bit ridiculous, but my problems went away for now.

    GTX 550ti in SLI good enough for BF3?

    I used to run two 550Tis in SLI, and then I returned them about two days later. They really performed poorly. Id rather have one of my 560Tis over a dual 550Ti setup. Trust me, do your friend a favor and tell him to save up or take the 550 back for a single 560Ti.
