Advanced graphics cards required to power the unit should be able to deal with any resolution you want by scaling to the native monitor resolution before outputting. At least my 7800 GT doesn't have a problem. -

Oh this is great. I was beginning to think all 23" panels had to be cooled by a fan. The 232 is particularly noticible but it good to hear I have options other than Sony if there is a fan on the 234. Does anyone have either the 232 and can confirm the presence of the fan or the 234 and... -

Okay in all honesty I''ve only direct experience with a Sonys SDM-232 which has a pretty loud fan (louder than my Base unit) which is on continuously. I'm primarily lookinh to purchase a 234 and was wondering if I can expect the same annoying fan noise? Are there any 23" LCDs that do not...
