I've had the ZR22w now for about 6 weeks and the Aniti Glare coating does have a slightly grainy look, but I have got used to it now and could never go back to using a shiny screen like the ones that Apple make. They should offer an anti glare option on their screens!
I have not noticed any problems with uniformity of brightness on the HP ZR22w and there are not any tinting issues.
