I'd go for the X1900XT... Though you can get a good 7900GT for around $230 after rebate, I'd still say the Radeon is a better future-proofing value at that price.

I was hoping to stick some of the sweet Crucial Ballistix DDR2-800 from ZZF into a DFI Infinity 975X, but the RAM is a power hog at 2.2v. Does anyone know if the Infinity will have problems with this RAM? e.g. not be able to post at such high voltage, other such incompatibilities, etc.?

You really need to upgrade your PSU, yeah, especially if you upgrade the card. I'd recommend this , which is more than you need to power that system but leaves you room for expandability and overclocking (which I assume you will do with such a high-end setup).

I might go for a 7900GT; assuming you're paying $200 for your GS you can probably get a superior GT for just $30-$40 more after mail in rebates. On the other hand, you might wait for the Sapphire Radeon X1900GT's to reappear on Newegg for $200. Otherwise, looks good. ;)
