    I think the Marantz would sound a lot better, but you’d probably be best looking for a newer model second hand, like a nr1501. Or something similar that’s 2-3 years old. :)

    Out of those two I’d go for the Marantz, it seems like a very good price. :) If you do get it just be careful it is five years old and is a budget model so try not to push it too hard. I had an older Sherwood avr blow up on me half way through Gladiator and it was roughly the same age. ;)...
