Right well. I'm not so sure now. Since when I was messigna round last night I was a wee bit tired I did not notice the reason the monitor wasnt changing how it looked when switching between limited and full range. That's because of the "Range Extension" option in the menu (signal section)... -

Anybody had any experience with this screen? From what I've read it uses a very similar panel to the Dell U2414H...which sort of worries me. Those thing bezel panels seem to suffer with darkness in the corners and bottom like this picture here of a U2415. Also the stand is a bit...odd, i... -

Every modern Dell monitor I've tried (apart from the U2713HM) has had some sort of fault or issue. U2414H has the displayport issue with it being detected as an HDTV and setting limited range (that dell don't want to fix) U2415, at least with A00, has pretty awful panel uniformity with a lot... -

o...k... I just had the on/off issue. Reading wikipedia happily, monitor goes blank with backlight on then off completely and then comes back again...how odd -

After trying a few monitors (a U2415, a U2414H and a U2415 again) I've decided to give up on those due to awful uniformity on the U2415 and displayport issues on the U2414H (it reset to limited range every time i turned it off). I received my U2415 last friday and after wrangling with nvidia displayport issues (lines on screen when i turned it off and then on) i was ready to use it...but i couldnt help feeling the taskbar looked a little odd. sure enough, darkness in corners and bottom :/...
