Well NCX did point out some things about this monitor, yet I still have two of them and am very satisfied with them after doing a calibration on them. Great bang for the buck, and reflections are not an issue where my displays are placed.
Mike, Please post your thoughts on this display as I am thinking of pulling the trigger on it. I've tried a couple of the 4K TN panels and were not as good as my 2560x1440 IPS glass panel from Monoprice sitting side by side. So I am really interested in how it looks being IPS and semi gloss.
Benq didn't get very many on the first shipment so its pretty hard to buy one right now. I was told by a Benq rep today that another shipment is coming Dec 18-20. Damn, if you say they are now for sale, make sure you have a decent amount of product to offer!
phill,
First I have seen of your link. Thanks for posting that. Some very good photos of the monitor to view. The rep I talked to at Benq says this is a semi gloss screen. Hopefully its got great "pop" to it.
Some info up on the Monoprice site now. Looks like it will be in Oct.

Looking forward to getting the full specs and details on this monitor sooner than later.
I knew they were working on this and finally a small bit of info. Hopefully we'll get more details shortly.

I've found the displays with glass, to have more pop to them so worth a try for me. And I don't have a window behind me so no reflection issues either.
Guess I'll have to wait to order this baby stateside and then see what I think in a side by side with my Monoprice 2560x1440 IPS monitor...
Finnish,
Vesa mount on this is a real plus. I have a Monoprice 2560x1440 monitor now with the edge to edge glass screen and really like it as it gives more "pop" than a regular matte screen imho. So I might just try one of these out now since it seems to be the only current 4k monitor with a...
