Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Do you have pictures of internals of this LCD?
Is panel floating alone or is it screwed to the electronics behind?
I'm quite sure the backlight is caused by curved panel (as you can fix it temporarily by manual twist) - so is it curved panel alone or some other parts have their own 3 pennies...
Did anybody already managed to open this monitor or know how to remove front bezel?
I guess I found the source of bleed / clouding. It looks it is caused by a bit of curvature of case or too much (or uneven) pressure applied to LCD panel. If I apply slight bending force on the case bleed...
BTW - are you receiving brand new monitors or refurbished? Does refurb have some kind of stick indicating it was repaired / returned?
How many times you can ask for replacement before Dell say it wont give you another one?
Could somebody post some photos of 2412M showing difference how much bleed can dissapear after several days of use?
