    6600GT to X850XT...should I?

    I made this upgrade about 6 months ago and couldn't be more amazed. The 6600gt just wasn't cutting it, found a good deal on the x850xt and as soon is i put it in. The games I was playing was night and day difference. Would definately suggest the upgrade.

    ^^ damn u dont know how happy I am to here that. As I have been bogglying my mind with why the xl is more than the pro, but I can clearly see pro's OCed out perform the xl even with 4 less pipes.     2 video cards in one box

    another option is to put both in, but keep the old one plugged in. If you can see windows when it boots, go into the device manager and disable the old card (make sure the new one is there as well) and reboot. The new card should be in full function.

    should be able to get a lot more out of those cards, I reached 4000 with a 10% OC with my MSI 6600GT. Didn't even do any tweaking beyond that point. Nice pick up btw wish I could get a free vid card :cool:
