    regarding cpu speed, have you tried: http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/lenb/acpi/utils/pmtools-latest/turbostat/turbostat.c Just compile it with gcc and run it as superuser. Worked quite well with my 3630k.

    Wah of course you are right, 25% for 4Ghz, but nevertheless very interesting:) At Stock 4650/6386 are on pair, if one consider spec CFP2006 Rates, the built in gromcas benchmark even favours the 6386.
