    We'll have had it running with np for about 12 hours, not hot to the touch anymore with this back up connector but I still don't feel 100% safe, still getting another psu, looks like i'll have to jump up to a 600 - 700 watt to get all the connectors from what I've seen so far.

    I'm looking at the motherboard side of the connection and it looks discolored too, man now I'm wondering what's going on, trying another molex connector to see if it will work till I get another psu. Wonder if laminate floors are fire resistant.

    2419 EE 40/60 2419 75/115 I don't have alot of experience chaging settings, also energy savings for me is a must since i'm on a very small budget, the EE's could be the difference of being able to set up another like system.

    WCG opteron 2419 vs xeon e5440

    Sounds like you got EE chips? Mine have been running solid. Really happy with them. I still got to get the xeon's up and running, got everything but a psu, then i'll be able to see whats worth keeping, been looking at cases to get no matter which way i go, more kid proof than naked.

    Have a couple 2x2419 setups running WCG, wanted to get 4 2439's or 8439's but the prices have been over 170.00 a cpu for a bit now. Hope those prices come down in the future.
