I really dont know, I cant find enough info or comparison guides to know if its worth it to get a x58/core i7 vs say a 790i ultra/Q9650.
Would the x58/core i7 give a noticable performance boost in GAMING vs the 790i ultra/Q9650? Or is the core i7 not really made for gaming?

I didnt just crank it. I slowly increased in small interval's and never actually got to those clocks, because of intense artifacting... I just didnt feel like typing all that :p
