What does it mean when a display is not "ddc functional"???

Tamlin, thanks! Do you mean that Eye-One will not run under Vista or that you just don't know? . Do you use the Psyder2 yourself? Are you happy with it? I read better reviews on the Eye-one and had more or less decided to buy it, but this may change things -

pantone and GMB calibration the same??
I am confused by the names and brands of monitor calibration systems. I see eye-One Display2 advertized as a GMB product, but also as a Pantone product, but on the Pantone website I see only the Huey. And what about the Spyders? Is it always Colorvision, or Pantone, or what? Thanks for info! -

Can't decide if I want to keep my widescreen monitor or not...
I love widescreen because you have more space for eg the history when surfing or palettes wehn Photoshopping. But you have to realize that a 21" normal screen has the same height as a 26" widescreen. So if you want the same height, you have to have a higher diagonal. So I'd go for a bigger... -
