Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
thanks guys. I ended up getting it from the craigslist person. The monitor was new, came with a bill, and was only 300$! I got to try it out and checked for dead pixels before buying it. I'll post my thoughts on this screen once I play around with it a bit :)
cheers!
yea i check them out. It's a pretty good price, though I live in Quebec so taxes are killing me (about 13%). i'm going to inspect the monitor on saturday, check for dead pixels, hopefully not get screwed. if anyone knows of any other good deal on a 24" -under 350CAD- let me know.
On a side...
Hi all,
I found a deal on a monitor on craigslist. However I'm a little worried it could be a refurbished monitor even though it's supposedly new. Is there a way to tell when inspecting it? (It's a benQ E2400HD for 350CAD taxes incl)
Many thanks.
