    Vista Experience quirk ?

hehe. yep, with everything going on this thing has been a waste of money lately. Work, wrecked my car etc. =\ Have Oblivion here and GTR2 but haven't installed either yet. Stumbled on the quirk after installing the memory a couple of nights ago. Time for bed ! :)

    Vista Experience quirk ?

Hope I didn't give the impression i was all that concerned. Just a little curious. If the Sandra scores had been down around 4000 i would have started wondering. Can't say I trust Sandra much at all either though... ;) If anyone knows a good memory benchmark program that works with Vista x64...

NVIDIA 8800GTX "Will It Fit?" Case Thread

I'm upgrading and thought i would post that the BFG 8800GTX fits my Sonata II thanks to the power plugs being on the side of the card and not the back like my 7800GTX. It will end up going in a CM 830 Evo but I had to try out of curiosity for everyone else that might want to know. It has to be...

Are Klipsch ProMedia amps prone to failure?

Good idea anemone on using a 3rd party amp/sub. I've actually looked around the net some trying to find a way of doing this for when my replacements die.....and die they will. I looked at one that was around 300 and as you said it will be more expensive but as you said cheaper and less hassle in...

Are Klipsch ProMedia amps prone to failure?

and I was hoping my 5.1's would last 5 years.... lol. Honestly tho I would think nothing of it if my set lasted 3 years + before they died on me. It's true you only hear the bad stuff most of the time on the forums as Amy over at Klipsch said but the telling thing to me is this: When one person...

Just got home and got the link I had saved and came here and ya beat me to it ! :D I'll for sure update everyone if I order the kit with thoughts on the install etc. If the Klipsch die on me again I'll buy Logitechs. Waiting on word from Newegg right now on my RMA status.

Are Klipsch ProMedia amps prone to failure?

I can't find the the link at the moment but there is a gentleman on eBay that repairs the subs and adds a couple of quiet cooling fans and a transformer to the inside of the sub/amp enclosure. He also sells the DIY kit for 26-28 dollars IIRC. I'm thinking of ordering the kit when i get mine back...

Are Klipsch ProMedia amps prone to failure?

My Klipsch Ultra's are faulty. They are several months old and still under warranty but are dying nontheless. I can't say they are any less reliable than Logitech since I've never owned Logitechs but I feel that the Klipsch system I have were never abused. I've turned them up 2/3's of the way...
