Somebody please answer Shakakahn's question! He's been kind enough to post his 3dMard score and he's politely asked 3 times now- will the Athlon processor he posted be compatible with our system?

Here in the next two weeks I'll be placing an order for somewhere around $440 on newegg- That'll go toward 2gb of PQI, the DVD burner, and a 7200 RPM harddrive.

All I have done is add 256 mb of PC2700 ram and update to Omega drivers. My 3DMark03 score was 904. My cousin bought 1 gb of PC3200 ram and he's got the Omega drivers. His 3DMark03 score was 1120.

Just a follow-up: I played Counter Strike smoothly today with 512 MB of PC2700 Ram and the Omega drivers (plus the re-format.) I also played GTA III without any problems- I was not able to do this out of the box.
