Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
is your 8800GTS a 320mb or a 640mb? if it's a 320, how'd you get the memory to clock up to 1900?? The highest I can get mine to go and be even remotely close to stable is 960.
update: I checked out your sig. it's a 640.
hmm...I actually have a Freezer 7 Pro CPU cooler too that I could use to keep the temps down even more. The only reason I don't have it on is because when I put my setup together it wouldn't fit onto the CPU without hitting the ughhh.....something purple cooler. It was purple if I recall...
You'll have to forgive my total noobness, but what are the advantages of oc'ing you're processor? I know it'll make apps and stuff load up faster but will it help graphics or gaming at all other than just load times?
alright well I just re-ran the 3DMark with a decent o/c. I set the graphics card at 600/900. The overall 3DMark score was 9103 and the CPU was 2348. I think the CPU was better this time because last time I was running winamp too. So...what'cha think?
yeah I'm definaitly up to date on the drivers. I was having a problem getting Splinter Cell Double Agent to work properly and ended up updating my driver several times trying to get it to work.
well I just ran 3DMark06 on my new setup and I was wondering if these are the expected results for my setup.
MSI P6N FI SLI motherboard
Intel E6600 core 2 duo (stock)
2gigs of ram
8800GTS 320 mb
I ran the test at 1280x1024 without any AA or AF. Just straight forward 1280x1024

Well I already uninstalled STALKER so I couldn't try that one out but I tried turning off v-sync in lost planet and that didn't help at all. I also tried turning down the audio acceleration and that didn't do a thing either. Oh well. I'll have to try it on Overlord and see how that one turns out.
It does it in the cutscenes for Lost Planet. It did it for the opening cutscene of STALKER. I only loaded itup to see what it looked like on my new PC since I already beat it so I didn't try any of the other videos throughout the game. It also did it for one of the scenes in BIOSHOCK...
Just recently my games have started getting out of sync on the cutscenes. Everything's fine except when it comes to a cutscene or even some ingame cinematics. It starts out fine but after about 10 seconds the audio starts to get off and by the end it's like 30 seconds after the video.
