Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

I have an 860, and the main reason I own it is for video encoding. It SCREAMS.
It would be a hard sell for me to consider anything else (except for a 920, MAYBE).
And I am not sure I would switch to a 920. I would consider it... But the 860 continues to impress me.
I can...

But, that goes back on the user. You want to be a test mule...
I have the vertex, and it is solid.
Really, for me, it came down to Intels were not available anywhere, and the OCZ vertex was available (at Microcenter [which is local], with a damn good rebate).
I haven't shopped them lately, but I would not hesitate to grab another OCZ if the price was...
I have an antec 300.
the heatsink's pipes run across the i7, East - West in the antec (see diagram from intel below to help give a better idea).
The fans blow from south to north. (I have a push pull... One on the bottom, one on the top).
(Adding the second fan dropped the temps at full load...

I am using a coolmaster tx3 heatsink. Although a cheap heatsink, works very well for light duty overclocking.
I could probably push the processor quite a bit more, but happy with the...
