my 2tb caviar black just died 2 days ago. The drive will spin but OS won't boot with the drive still connected. I'm assuming the motor is fine as it can spin freely AND continuously. The bios can sense the drive but OS can not under disk management. I tried in another computer, same thing. I...

Try changing the name of the drive??? i know it says elements by default, or quick format them

just cancelled my order from newegg for the samsungs f4, and got 3 of these at a brooklyn target. there were sooooo many netg/malaysian ones. Maybe i should buy another tomorrow...I just opened one up and installed it in my comp..all blacks!

Hi magnetik I just have one question, i have the same internal hd rack as you, is it possible to turn of the leds on the hd cage by using the jumper on the pins at the back? thx :)
