Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I run a x2 3800, 7800GTX 512 with my 3007. WoW will run at 2560x1600 at max settings with 25ish fps at the most crowded of areas. Fine for 40man BWL raids even with spell effects turned up.
Ok,
Still no reply from XFX, but I got my 3007 today. Fired it up and updated the drivers. At first I plugged the DVI cable into the slot closest to the mobo, but no go. Then shutdown and changed DVI ports to the other one.....started up and 2560x1600 np :).

Common sense would dictate that since the 512s are...
Oh! you are Glen from WP...never realised cos I'm still a n00b to all these forums (Spent too much time playing EQ and WoW :/ ). Never made the connection it was you. Really love your work on your V1000. Definitely my favourite case/ cable job...in fact I tried to do one like yours but...
Here's my newbie attempt at clean cable wiring.
In retrospect I should've gone for a PSU with longer leads. But overall I'm quite happy with the new case and setup as idle and load temps have gone down by over 10 degC.
I've got a question regarding the jumper connector for the power switch LED. On my V1000, the power LED has a 3slot jumper thingie (with the middle slot not connected)......but my mobo has only 2 jumper pins for the panel LED....do I need to pull out one wire to the jumper and connect it to the...
I bought a V1000 2days ago. Just got my OCZ Modstream 520 this morning. I knew that the PSU is larger than most other ones on the market, however I was just prepared to remove one of the HDD racks and the dividing wall between the PSU and the HDD area.
One thing though, they are not fixed to...
