I've been reading, don't think it is meant to mirror an OS drive either. I'll test it shortly.
Update: unplugged the main OS drive, disk1, and there was no interruption. Sweet.
Thank you palaciav for the detailed reply. I just wonder if I mirror the C: drive adn the System Reserved if it'll show up on the mirrored drive the same way...like 100MB partition and 232.79GB partition so if one drive fails it'll automatically continue running. I'll give it a shot! I...
Thank you and the previous poster. I also have a WD 1TB Scorpio Blue that Norton Ghost does incremental and full backups to. Guess I'll reconsider my plan. I was really looking for redundancy in case of hardware failure and to not have to use the backups if one hdd died. This is for her...
I'm going by this article and a few others:
http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/17926/use-drive-mirroring-for-instant-backup-in-windows-7/
All I'm looking to do it create redundancy so should the main OS drive fail the other drive automatically keeps going and I can then replace the failed drive...
I've set up my wife with (2) WD Scorpio Blacks 250GB.
Disk 0: 232.88GB unallocated
Disk 1: 100MB System Reserve, 232.79GB (C: ) with the OS
Do I have to mirror both the System Reserve and the partition with the OS on it? Both the System Reserve and the (C: ) partition when right-clicked...
Interesting, I hadn't considered RAID1 to be honest. I think I'll keep the WD and research into RAID1 a bit more. Thank you for the response.
Newegg had the ECS 1155 for $15 AR three times this year...it was pretty popular on Slickdeals each time. All have been completely stable for me so far...
Hello everyone. Built my wife a pc for her office work with the following specs:

2.5'' 250GB WD Scorpio Black main drive
2.5'' 1TB WD backup drive (using Norton Ghost for backups)
PC Power/Cooling 400W...
I'd say even with that HP crapola psu it'll do fine with a 7600GT, only uses an extra 50 watts. Plus it is more than doubled the performance of the 6600GT which isn't exactly a power saver.
Fantastic, just the response I was looking for. I will try to get the HTT back up to 1000mhz
update and updated picture: up to 2849mhz, htt a little over 1000mhz with mult. 4X

Says I need a 50 post count to post there but I've posted replies there before. On the bottom of the page it says I "may" post replies. Been like this for over a week.
Did the rules change or something?
