Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Except that the Psysx was a stand alone, this is built into MoBos, if it launching it would be dumb for companies to not put this into some of their boards in order to keep them competitive, especially if it takes off, unlike Psysx did.
Um, what? that is awesome. If you have a GTX 260 sitting around it would be okay to assume that you upgraded from the GTX 260 to the 5870, now rather than having to set the 260 aside and sell it or something you can keep it in your system with, if as you say, a 23% increase. That is pretty damn...
I was playing retail version of CODWAW on my system and load times were fine with my 4870x2, but then we updated our games to 1.4 and now my load times are terrible, performance is game is just fine, but loading the game is slow at start up as well as new maps and such :(
Eh, am i missing something here? when i go to the page all i am seeing for the hotfix downloads are:
"Errata.inf Not Applicable 72,117 03-Oct-2008 23:14 Not Applicable"
can't find where to download :(
You'll definitely love it - loving mine coupled with the 4870x2. Everything is so beautiful, nothing compares - well nothing that i've seen first hand at least :|
Looks like i'm going to have to RMA my RAM and my Mobo. Ram is spitting out errors all over memtest and such and keeps blue screening with x124 stop code :(.
Then mobo won't flash BIOS at all - gives me some boot block error - tried every way of flashing except that Asus Auto Update. That...
No issues here - 4870x2 @ 2560x1600 with everything maxed and i'm sitting between 55-60 according to fraps, very smooth as well. Dips down below 30 sometimes when a lot of stuff starts happening, but i'm also running with 1 bad stick of ram i just found out 30 minutes ago :(
Edit: clarifying...
Thanks a lot Xenox. I did try the underclocking and running ATI Tool, but it just kept turning completely yellow with artifacts. Also put in a 4850 and had no issues in game or with ATI Tool. So, it definitely seems like my issue is the card - sending it back over to NewEgg today.
Thanks...
