Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Same here, in the little bit of time that I used my new 2405FPW last night, I saw no lag whatsoever. Picture perfect...seriously better than I could have expected.
A++ from me...SO worth $699. If any of you are on the fence and can still get it from Brad at WiPro for that price, DO IT...
Just got my 2405, also a March 2006 manufacture date, revision A05. Flawless...no dead pixels, nothing.
Completely 110% satisfied with my purchase. VERY glad I went this route...it's beautiful...and huge.
Ah, Brad let you use the $60 off $500 coupon on your order? I ordered a 2405 from him on Friday, but didn't use this coupon.
Maybe I can drop him a line and get the $60 credit or something...
Yeah, we're in the same boat. But having gotten my 2405 for USD $699 + tax and free shipping, I don't regret my purchase at all. It's going to be a while before the 2407 issues are worked out and the revised models make it to market.
Going for a 2405 now is really a great alternative if you...
Just go to Flickr and do a search for 2405FPW and 2405. You'll find tons of pictures. There's also a "Show us your LCD setups!" thread here with hundreds and hundreds of postings.
I agree on all these points...same reason I bought a 2405 from Brad, too. The 2407 won't be $699 for a LONG time, or even $750, so I figured it was best to go with this now. And if they do have quality issues, I don't want one anyway.
Nice! Thanks for the contact info. I just picked up a 2405FPW from them for $699 + tax with free shipping. There's still the 21 day return policy, no questions asked, so that's good enough for me. If the 2407WFP comes out and looks good, I can make the swap.
Thanks again!
Yeah I agree with this. I can get a 2405FPW from Dell Home right now for $789 + tax with free shipping. I'd like to call them to see if they can get it to $750 like they did for the guy above. I kinda have issues paying that much for it when there's a new model coming out next week.
These...
I'm assuming that you mean a Dell salesperson named Brad? And if so, do you happen to have an extension or direct dial number for him?
If I could get a 2405FPW for $750 shipped, I'd probably just go ahead and get one today. It will be a while before we see 2407WFP deals.
I may wait'll...
Don't you all think you may be being a tad quick to judge here? Shouldn't we wait for a review from a more reputable, US-based site, such as AnandTech, Tom's Hardware, Hexus, etc.? These are also first revision 2407's, and it's been a good 4-6 weeks now. Perhaps the US will get a second...

Now that Japan buyers are receiving their 2407's, widescreengamingforum.com has a thread with 2407 pics posted. See link below:

When, oh when is it going to be available and shipping...
