Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I have mine setup to auto switch from NiceHash x11/x13 with TradeMyBit as my backup pool when I can't get work from NiceHash. Working fairly smoothly so far, even watched it switch back and forth between all 3 pools.
Theres my issue... 17GB is a huge chunk of my monthly cap. I seriously hate my ISP but its all we got here. May have to really consider MultiBit then. Can anyone explain how their system works? I understand that it doesn't download the whole chain and only contains your transactions. Is this a...
So I'm thinking of getting a wallet and I've narrowed it down to 2-3. My issue is that I'd really rather not get the main QT wallet as that blockchain download is probably a ridiculous size. Is there any reason I shouldn't use something like MultiBit or something like it as my main wallet? :p
Yes this is all very true. I guess I should've mentioned that I also played with the TC. I'm still sticking with my point. Sometimes your hardware just won't cooperate sometimes it will. EG, I recently had to restart my rig with the finicky 280x. Since I started it yesterday, I have gotten no HW...
exactly! I googled all over the place and never got a definitive answer. So I finally just gave up. If your getting your desired hash rate and the HW error rate isn't spitting out instantly (something like 1 every sec) I think you are doing okay.
@Draksia damn! Almost 800?! I have that same...
Ima have to agree with oblox. I have an ASUS 280x that no matter what I do will spit out errors. I've tried it in different setups, different configs, and no matter what I do (underclock, overclock) it will spit out small amounts of HW Errors. I spent a ton of time trying to troubleshoot and got...
I know its unpopular opinion but I feel that at some point DOGE will go through a rebranding of sorts for more legitimacy . I've been lurking that subreddit and while sure there are some ridiculous posts in the name of fun there are some promising start ups here and there. Oh and for the...
Man. I hope you guys get this fixed. I was one of the prospective buyers of that 670 a while ago. Now I'm glad that I got one somewhere else. Seems I might have dodged a bullet.
That was the confirmation I was looking for. I saw that command but wasn't sure how it would work if I just chose the device. When you game or do regular computing while mining it doesn't affect anything? (laggy desktop, etc) ?
Thanks!
Hello all--
Just had a few quick questions. I've googled this before and sort of have an understanding of what I want to do but just thought I'd get some second opinions on the topic. I have 3 GTX 670s in my system right now. I want to take 1 off the tri sli config and use it specifically for...
Yeah I was looking at those EK plates at Frozencpu but didn't know if I could use them without the blocks. I'm not planning on water cooling anytime soon and I've never actually taken a stock cooler off a gpu. Can you install those without opening the whole thing?
