    New Opteron Prices

This will be the case until somebody starts selling at the lower price. Then everyone will have to lower prices, or they will be stuck with old inventory.

    New Opteron Prices

I placed an order for a 144 three weeks ago and am still waiting for them to show up. Although with this price drop, I'll jump on a 146 if it shows up (hmmm, that 10 multi is sounding nice.)

    New AMD pricing?

The pricing on the opterons also changed today. The 144 is now $111, and the 146 is about $125. Both are killer deals, and both chips cannot be found anywhere. :(

    New Opteron Prices

Thanks for the info. I am also curious about the 144. Although if I can't find one, I'll snatch up those oem 146's.

BFG GeForce 7800GT $313.96 AC AR + tax (if applicable) at Dell Home

Yup, I meant 340 (I'll fix it). It is essentially the same price, so the tiebreaker is the higher clockspeed on the evga, the $25 worth of play money that comes with the cardpool, COD2, and the (very) slightly better warranty on the evga.

BFG GeForce 7800GT $313.96 AC AR + tax (if applicable) at Dell Home

I'd say the current best deal on a 7800gt is the evga at ZZF . It is $340 (edited) before the $25 cardpool promo and you get COD2 as well. Same lifetime warranty as BFG too (actually perhaps evga's is a little better because they have a *nudge, nudge, wink, wink* attitude toward overclocking...

    3DFuzion GeForce 7800GT for under $300

Yes, but the CO in evga's product name does stand for copper. I guess CO sounds cooler than Cu (probably cuz it is similar to OC).

    3DFuzion GeForce 7800GT for under $300

That is evga's "vanilla" model clocked at 445/1070, compared to the 470/1100 speeds on the CO model that 9iron linked to. (Yes, I'm spending way too much time staring at 7800's).

    3DFuzion GeForce 7800GT for under $300

I agree. Except for the cheaper part. $369-$25(rebate)-$25(funny money) is still more than $320-$30.

    3DFuzion GeForce 7800GT for under $300

Finally under my self imposed upper limit of $300 for a vid card, although it relies on a fairly questionable rebate. At this point, I think I'd rather pay an extra ~$25 to get the bfg model from dell (with $35 coupon and $30 rebate) to get the extra Mhz and the lifetime warranty. The...

Dell's 14 Days of halloween Deals!!

Jeez. I did't expect the vid cards to be 45% off, but I figured 15-20% was a reasonable expectation. These "deals" suck big time. On the bright side, the rebate has been extended for the bfg 7800gt

Dell's 14 Days of halloween Deals!!

I want to know if the bfg 7800gt will be one of the "select" accessories tomorrow.
