    Thats all I'm saying. Right now, not many games can benefit for 2 more cores. Also, dual cores o/c a lot better than quads. A lot of people are running up to 4.5ghz for daily use now.

    Dual cores are better for gaming than quads. The E8600 that just came out would probably be the best bet.

    Even though I agree the q6600 is a great chip, I love mine, those temps cant be right for all 4 cores under load. Even with watercooling.

    I have the same setup as you, q6600 and p5q pro, and I use the xigmatek hdt-s1283. It's pretty good, but supposedly the ocz vendetta 2 is a few hairs cooler.

    the standoffs are brass, and come with the case. i have the same case. They go underneath the motherboard, then the motherboard gets screwed into the standoffs.
