    Okay....let's not be afraid of the PC. You have the power of the almighty CMOS reset! (j/k) Clean your PC out first... eally spray/clean your VGA HSF, CPU HSF, intake/exhaust fans, etc....Are you sure you have VGA the fan set to 100% when it's at 90C? Or do you set it to 100% after you notice...

    I happen to like the aftermarket heatsinks....it helps me avoid the expense/hassle of buying a $20 - $30 cooler, PCB compatibility issues and installing it myself when I can get it done and warranted from the vendor. I loved my Asus 9800GT Ultimate as it was the fastest 9800GT on the market...

    :D I'm not sure it's that linear, but good effort. Yes OP....without issue or fail. I have a MSI 9800 at 660/1900 and it handles L4D/TF2 (source engines) @ 1920x1200 with 4x/16x around 60-80FPS with my 8400. I've found those to games with their "tweaks" to be more demanding than CS:S or HL.

    This. I had a 7300GT in my headless FTP/Torrent box which I took out in place of a PCI GeForce MX4000. If all it does is render a simple GUI, don't even waste the cash on anything more than something that does just that.
