    Rigid tubing?

    LOL

    flow meter placement?

No. Flow is constant throughout the loop.

    New Liquid Cooling Project

3/8-5/8 Primochill tubing is great. It's almost impossible to kink.

    Flow indicator

Flow meters are designed to be as free flowing as possible so they don't distort what they're there to measure.

    New Liquid Cooling Project

What size tubing did you get? 3/8" ID but what OD?

New to watercooling setup, opinions please

So much EK hate around here. Looks good to me. Just one thing though... that radiator is somewhat densely finned, so higher speed fans are better for it.

How I clean my waterblock / radiators

What does it matter if the loop was hooked up or not? Personally, I clean all of my stuff out with the method I mentioned. I assemble all of my hardware (GPU block pre-installed), put the CPU block on the motherboard, install it all into the case, run tubing, and just fill the reservoir. I think...

How I clean my waterblock / radiators

I don't know about you, but I can just hook my blocks, radiators, etc up to the wash tub faucet in the basement and have water so hot running through them them that I can't touch the tubing for just about as long as I want, flushing stuff out. You aren't going to get all or even most of the flux...

How I clean my waterblock / radiators

I love how people recommend cleaning things with acid but freak when someone uses tap water. Vinegar left for a day will result in blue tinted water many times, but tap water will not form deposits in that amount of time. As long as he's not opening the faucet full blast (can be over 50psi...

How I clean my waterblock / radiators

There's nothing wrong with using tap water to clean parts as long as you flush afterwards with distilled.

Finally going full WC - advice on what I've picked out

That tubing only has a 1/16th wall... it can kink easily. I would switch to 3/8-5/8...

Possibly the dumbest question, ever ...

Green is the signal wire for the PSU to turn the remaining rails on. When the PSU is "off" but the switch on the back is on, the PSU is producing 5v on the standby rail. That way the motherboard has power supplied to it which is directed to the front panel connectors and your power button...

    compression fitting tightness?

I found that when tightening the collar on fresh tubing, it doesn't want to go down all the way when finger tight. After a leak test (hour or so), you can finish tightening them because the tubing has deformed a bit around the fitting.

First time watercooling - good kit choice?

21c in BIOS... what's your room temp? Unless it's 18c or lower, I can't see how that's possible, unless that's after your computer was off for hours. My AMD system reports CPU temps 10c lower than what they really are.

    compression fitting tightness?

The collar or the fitting threaded into the block/radiator/pump?
