    I was jumping the gun with plugging in the psu just to see the fan go around. I'll have to wait to see how it reacts under a load. Patience is a virtue that I am apparently lacking. Thanks for the replies.

    noob question about PSU's

    I have a new Seasonic X-1250. I haven't hooked it up to anything because I'm building my new rig piece by piece and awaiting the Ivy-E CPU launch. When I plugged in my PSU, the fan didn't move at all. Is this normal? Do I need a load to even have the fan go on or did I just get a dud? Thanks...
