it's either GTX 280 or 4870x2. you don't even have to consider 4870. if you lower your expectation, then get GTX 260 and save money.

I used 1905 dell ultrasharp before I bought 2709w, so the pitch size is quite the same. For me, the larger pitch size is rather an advantage (better for my eyes)

The price difference between 2709w and 3008wfp is $1100, so it's not even comparable. If you need 2560x1600 resolution, you have to spend that much money and go for 30". If not, just pick up 2709w and save $1100. I have 2709w, and it's a good monitor for me since I don't play games. I don't feel...

I received my monitor today. My revision is A02 mfc in Oct. 2008 made in Mexico. I thought that the one guy, who mentioned he got the A02, was joking, but it was true. A02 exists. I thought even A01 is fairly new, but already A02? guess I'm lucky. :)
