    Sad day indeed. Abit BH6 & 533 Coppermine is where it all started for me. A lot of fond memories. I've read somewhere that many of the brains behind Abit are now working at Biostar, which is sort of comforting to know, as I've become a fan of Biostar before I knew this.

    Wow, no kidding. Been thinking 9950 since the price cut, but 140w is a bit of a deal breaker for me. 125w sounds a lot better, but then still a lot compared to my 65w 5000BE. But then the way I've got it OC'ed, it's probably sucking a lot more than 65w.

    Yeah, that's copper. :rolleyes: You see a difference in color because the surface is oxidized, so when you scratch away that, you see raw copper which is the color of the scratched area, LOL.

    I think it comes down to having dual GPU support is important or not, and if so, do you intend to go dual x-fire or dual SLI? If you're going Nvidia card, then go 780a (or 750a if on budget) for the SLI. If ATI, then 790FX for the xfire. 790FX is a better value & has more options for cheaper...

    Upgrade opinion

    The 5000+ Black Edition has unlocked multiplier, which makes overclocking real easy, even for noobs. I've got mine at 3.1GHz simply by changing the multiplier, nothing more. On top of that, there's some really good combo deals going on right now. Checkout the free Thermaltake SporanoRS case...
