Actually most of the successful franchise are on mobile, and mobile game is a giant industry in the eastern world. I look forward to it honestly. Just don't understand the fans.. Blizz can do a number of Diablo projects, if something they don't like just ignore it. There will be a Diablo 4 and...
Taking price out of the window, show me a better product. Saying 2080 ti is trash is like saying a car is trash while you are still walking .
"It's still not fast enough for 4k gaming." You kidding?
Product is not trash, but its super low value at that price until you have titles that...
Agreed that video cards should be cheaper, but you know, things are priced for a reason. No one stopping you getting 1060/2070 to 2080ti.
Much like Apple can sell a phone for 1.1k, or Chanel could sell you a bag for 3k, or a BMW for 100k where there are much cheaper options. There are different...
I wonder how Apple managed to get people to part $ to buy the iPhone X, or MacBook. Just like a BMW, or Ferrari, or Hermes, if you can't/won't afford, then it is not for you.
Dont feel sore about how company price it. There will be people who appreciate or want it, or the business will just...
Exactly. People sound like "I used to buy my BMW 5 series for 100k. Why are you selling me at 150k now?" "Well, we added in V8, a super turbo, some cool leather seat, a solid sound system and auto drive that cost money" "No, I don't care, you are cheating me. I am so going to get Toyota the next...
I highly doubt pre-orders is the main goal. It would be only a small portion of the overall sales. If the product is bad, no one will buy. Could be something else.. fear of competition?
A bit over reacting to a company that release a product to the market, and the control it had with the media. As someone pointed out, the dominant companies are using similar tactics. It is not isolated to Nvidia. If you don't like it, then don't buy Apple, stop using Google, uninstall Windows...
I am really interested in the mentality of "if AMD comes out..." If they had a card that can match 1080ti/2080ti performance, would they sell for much less? Looking at Vega, I doubt so.
Well, no one is asking you to get the top end every release.
My kid spent that much on legos frequently, and that card full of technology, only cost 30% of that bag my wife gotten as her birthday present. Talking about hobby... :(
You probably can get a 980ti performance for $200-250 soon. Performance changes with time. In 2 years time, you will still be saying "I will only spent $200-250 for a 2080ti performance." Just buy what you can afford, and stop looking at the new stuff if that bothers you.
