Hi guys,
My 60gb iPod ran out of space a couple months ago, and instead of buying the 80gb, I want to wait for the 6G iPod to come out. (hopefully it'll have even more space). In the meantime, I need something to tie me over a few months and my budget is limited, but I have some cash set aside.
Ok, so i've had my 60 Gb Black 5th Gen iPod since November, and I'm finally fed up with it reloading all 5000 songs + videos every 3 or 4 times I plug it in to update it. Sometimes it's only 1 new album I'm adding, and sometimes it's a video or two, but never a massive amount. My brother has a...
I never leave my iPod longer than 12 hours without use. It's happened after as little as 8 hours or less. It's not really a problem, so I'm not too worried, I just wondered how normal it is. ALSO....I noticed my iTunes IS the culprit. Probably one song per album or so does this in the same spot...
I want to know if anyone else has had similar problems. First, I have a 60Gb iPod Video (Black), and occasionally (1/2 of the time) when I go back to it, and turn it back on, it shows the reset screen (black w/ silver apple), and then is normal. Is that normal?!
Second, my iPod is skipping to...

First off, I'm not belittleing anyone who likes 128...this is just my opinion...but 128kbps sounds to me like I'm listening to a Real Audio file circa 1997. The sound is really flangy, and the signal is so compressed that the soundwaves are way too affected to have any real impact.
As we speak, My 60gb is in my front shirt pocket. It has a bit of weight to it, but I'm wearing a heavier linen. I would only recommend it for the heavier cotton, or something thicker. Also, with the headphone jack to the side, I can manage to button the flap on the pocket...thus protecting my...
What bitrate are all of you encoding your music? I have 459 Albums (5260 songs, 16.2 days) @ 320kbps and it takes me to 50.5Gb. I just couldn't bring myself to listen to Pink Floyd at 128 or even 192.
