Installed my 500W SFX-L in my ncase v2 the other day using the new PSU bracket but I can't see a way to get a gpu in there, there are just too many cables coming out.
I realise my definition of quiet is a bit different from a lot of people on here, I want it quieter than my blower GPU (quite easy) but absolutely no high pitch noise from it which I saw people complaining about the 600w silverstone.
Been a while since my M1 was built, what's the best/quiet PSU that can do 500W+, should really get an sfx psu so I don't have to have an ATX one sitting on the outside with cables going everywhere.
Can only help you with question 2, but with my h100i in there's about 1-1.5cm clearance so I doubt you could get a fan in.
I don't actually have nay other fans then the ones on the h100i and gpu and don't have a problem with temps at all, no mechanical drives though.
Not sure what to do about a power supply for my v2, I really want a quiet PSU but with the 500W SFX-L being a tight fit I'm not sure if it's going to be worth the wait.
mSATA? What DVD drive is it?
The PSU will come with cables for SATA power, never heard of mSATA power, mSATA is generally an SSD socket on the motherboard.
I'm moving in four days and won't be able to take many deliveries, was really hoping an EU/UK retailer would have the PSU in stock in time for me to get one.
I was speaking to someone that works for one retailer who said that Caseking seemed to be getting the pick of everything.
I just hope...
Still yet to build in my case, going to drill the mounting holes for my fan controller later on.
Any reason I shouldn't use the space at the front just above the I/O where the big cutout is?
Ahh, thanks for explaining that, I didn't realise there was no Silverstone distributor in the UK and I'm sure Scan only just listed that, I did a search on all the big retailers before I posted that and it didn't come up. xD
Get a USB extension cord/hub from the back and wire it to a discrete location where receivers are hidden.
I don't see the point in buying such a clean and sleek case if you're just going to stick a load of fugly looking USBs in the front.
