after uninstalling the beta 8 drivers and reinstalling and removing raptr it seems to resolved the black screens for now. battlefield sp which would crash after 5 minutes now is running fine and other games as well.
hey guys, I took a look at the pins and they look ok from what i can tell.. i dunno. I may just buy a new mobo and see what happens as i'm not really looking to give up my 2600k unless forced to.
I tried and it works with either dimm installed by itself, only issue is getting two dimms working. I even tried the other banks to see if it would work with both installed and doesn't. the dimms function fine installed in another computer though.
installed a corsair AIO kit over the weekend and when booting up, noticed it wouldn't post with 2 sticks of DDR3 installed. Took out one stick and booted up fine so after a few minutes I removed the pump from the CPU and looked at the bottom and noticed the discoloration on the corner of it. :(...
