    As much as I'd love a cheap Mac Neo, I'm not sure who the audience would be. Offices and kiosk operators? Laptops dominate the market even at the low end, and desktop buyers now skew more toward the high end.

    Side note: while I'm not alarmed about Comcast, I will say that I use a mesh Wi-Fi network instead of the one built into my modem. The 100Mbps speed boost and extended coverage were worth it.

    From what I've read and seen so far, last year's maxim holds true: get the base Pixel 11 unless you know you'll want the Pro models' features. You get the core experience while spending considerably less. I'm not in the market right now, but if I were I might skip the Pro just to get the most value.

    Chromebooks in school aren't necessarily better. Kids are still staring at screens; they're just clicking trackpads instead of touching displays. I'd still like my child to stay away from computing devices until they're truly necessary for classwork.
