    I use an old serrated steak knife. You can usually find the foam at grocery and produce stores as they tend to ship alot of produce in foam crates.

    Go around to your local grocery stores, hardware stores, etc and see if they have any boxes that are about the size your case will fit in. They may also have the white foam inserts that you could cut to fit.
