Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Pretty soon, I will have to send my laptop in for repairs. The left hinge is cracked on the LCD display, and is getting worse by the day. Sometimes the screen will fluctuate between brightness settings. Regardless: I hope ABS's support will not give me hell.
I'm currently running XP pro on the computer in my sig. If I choose to jump to vista, will all my M$ tools continue to work without having to reinstall everything? like M$ office tools, and visual C++ related apps?

I had the same problem on my laptop. Install normally, then once it "stops' (IE, not done. but just stops), restart the computer and attempt it again. This time it should work (it also helps if you keep it offline during this process). ATI will hopefully clear this problem up, even if it is...
Theres something beautiful about a high-end Lian-li Case. I hope dust and fur balls aren't sucked in by your fans. I really wouldn't leave it on the floor, I would personally place it on my desk.
EDIT: Typo.
My ABS baby has yet to fail me (except when I play DOD:S, then it crashes after two games). The only problem I would consider is battery life. My little bastard (I say that in a loving way) gets about 1 hour and 20 minuets of general use (On power conservation mode, mind you) And less then an...
I agree with techie.
For a water cooling solution, 70c under full load for a C2D (hell, any proc.) is a bit extreme.
If you wanna "test" the CPU overnight, try folding@home (where you fold molecules on your comp, or something) You can config it to run 100% for any large amount of time...
Grizzle; if that computer is not mailed to you in the amount of time you paid for, I would strongly incourage you to cancel your order, if they refuse or try to fine you (say a restocking fee) disput the charges with your credit card company.
Go with ABS, nice bang for your buck and they wont...
