Mach One, a Chimera x NCASE collaboration

After seeing the new Mac Pro announced today my thoughts drifted back to this case. Hoping we can hear something soon as we're now at mid-2019.

    NCASE M1 vs. Phanteks Shift

Good idea, honestly depending on case orientation it may not even be noticeable if done on the rear glass panel. Other ideas I have in mind of varying cost and extremes: Create a Plexi/Acrylic ventilated rear panel replacement for the tempered glass. Similar idea I came across on Instagram, but...

    NCASE M1 vs. Phanteks Shift

Ok, a little lower than I expected, but it seems to match the issues people have with the other popular Enthoo Evolve cases and airflow issues. Unfortunately some of the simpler mods to those cases don't seem like options here short of removing the dust filters on the sidepanel which it seems...

    NCASE M1 vs. Phanteks Shift

Cheers, I have been following the thread the last few days and have read it all, just hoping someone has such measurements. I may take a stab at it and have the alu panels CNC'd to allow airflow if the temp difference is dramatic enough, say 10C? Otherwise I'll have to look at the Shift X I...

    NCASE M1 vs. Phanteks Shift

Can either of you attempting a custom loop take temps with the alu side panel off on the fan side? Curious how much that air flow restriction is affecting things.

    New Silverstone SFX 650W PSU

Does anyone know if the 650 and 500W SFX PSU's with the 92mm fans are still coming?

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

Thanks a bunch, the ziptie through the PSU bracket is rather brilliant, but the one on the sata cable I feel less sure of. That said I definitely see why you feel confident, the hard tube support will help as well. Would love to know how you get on once you fill it up with water as it will weigh...

Any chance of a photo of the mounting points and cable ties? Quite interested in how you pulled it off!

Looks great, how did you end up mounting the pump/res?

That's an impressive price. There was no waterjet places in San Francisco, so I had mine lasercut and it cost $100. Though I had him cut my black side panel as well within that price; just in case I ever switch panel sets in the future.

What time does the 1080 go on sale?

    Is it midnight tonight?

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

With time and money to make something in a metal shop with perforated sides or something you could probably make some sort of base or something that looks okay, I think it would have to come to that though. There's no good off the shelf feet that look good. Could also get crazy and cut out the...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I've played with designing different feet to accomplish either a push/pull slim fan or a 25mm out of case fan and haven't come up with anything that looks good. I think just given the dimensions of the case low profile feet are the only way to go. I did see someone using 'riser' feet but it...

NCASE M1: a crowdfunded Mini-ITX case (updates in first post)

I would love this, I currently only have the audio headers hooked up and never use them (lots of electrical interference killing audio quality), the USB3 cable is crazy annoying to tuck away, but I haven't the heart to cut it off. Would love a clean front I/O with just power.

3M Double sided tape. I used tempered glass for the window which is heavy so picked up the 4910 tape.
