I havent changed any of the settings other than the brightness setting down to 30.

I do use color aware software for processing my photos. However, when viewing in an internet browser, the colors will not be reproduced as I edited them. Even when I view other photos, I don't want to save each file and then open them up in photoshop. That would be a hassle :)

The only thing that is really bothering me is the wider color gamut. While landscape photos do look quite punchier and more saturated with this monitor, portrait images tend to produce very red skin tones. I'm hoping that once the monitor is calibrated, things will be better! I feel quite...

DrRetina, I just got my 2408 this morning and cannot hear any sort of buzz coming from the monitor, not even with my ear right next to the screen.

Bwaze, I did the monitor test and the ghosting seems to be very minimal based on the tests. I did not notice an over drive issues. Doing the bleed test, I did not notice any bleeding as well.

BTW, would the difference between a 3000:1 to 1000:1 contrast ratio be noticeable? I had no issues with my 2407WFP-HC, but I decided to return it in favor of the 3000:1 contrast ratio and HDMI port.
