Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
1. Do you recommend a Western Digital Blue for $60, or a Western Digital Black for $80? The drive will be used for gaming and be paired with a 250-256GB SSD.
2. Should I buy a 256GB Crucial MX100 for $115, or a 250GB Samsung 840 EVO for $140?
3. Should I buy this Lite-On iHAS124-14 for $15...

ASRock Z97 Extreme4: $116 AR
8 Sata III Ports
1 DP
6 USB...
I know it is over my limit ($38), but I can afford it by dropping from DDR3-2400 to DDR3-1600Mhz Memory and by buying a Crucial MX100 instead of a Samsung 840 EVO.
Edit: Can this be moved to "Intel Motherboards."
I am looking for a Z97 LGA1150 motherboard. I need recommendations:
Some features:
6-10 Sata III Ports
USB 3.0
1 M,.2 Port
Supports 2 Way SLI/Crossfire
Under $150
Thanks for your help!
Edit: I found this Asus Z97-Pro. Is this a good motherboard?
Just a few thoughts...
AMD has Mantle
GeForce has the Geforce Experience
Doesn't AMD have driver issues?
The 780 is supposedly quieter than the 290.
The AMD performs better by 1-2 fps I think.
None of them are free.
EVGA GeForce GTX 780: $510
Sapphire Tri-X OC R9 290: $400
Sapphire Tri-X OC R9 290X: $550
Which should I buy? For now, I will be gaming at 1080p, but will upgrade to 1440p or 4K in the future.
