Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Eraser is pretty awesome. I was also wondering if there's an app that will wipe based on sector counts that you give it. Like wipe 10000-10100. Would work great for me, since there are some deleted files in certain sectors that I wanna wipe without doing all the unused space of the hard drive...
I use DBAN all the time, but it's a pain to reboot my HTPC each time I wanna wipe a drive. Is there a native windows app to securely wipe non-system/external drives?
Thanks Miguel for the really helpful post. I may go with the ITX-9300 and a JMB360 PCI-e 1x eSATA. Only 14 bucks so it's worth a shot. I will probably saw off the extra metal as my build is very compact (which is why I need PM)...
