I have this monitor. I haven't figured out the USB-C KVM thing. I'm just using a separate keyboard/mouse for the mac and PC on my desk. Not very ideal.
This guy did a similar to trick to what I posted to get his PS4 Pro to display correctly on the LG. I had the same experience w/ the PS4 Pro, and my mac.
They both work fine, it was just tricky to set up.
It's not a cable issue (I'm using brand new HDMI 2.0 cables that I purchased). 60hz works fine. It's just weird that I have to enable "ULTRA HD DEEP COLOR" for both my pc and my mac to switch to 60hz. I'm curious if anyone else has seen this.
Another thing i'm curious about - has anyone tested...
Is there a trick to enable 4k @ 60hz over HDMI 2.0 on this monitor?
When I use my HDMI 2.0 cable to connect to my PC, it defaults to 30hz with no option to switch to 60hz.
If I change the 'picture adjust' setting in the display menu for 'HDMI ULTRA HD DEEP COLOR = ON' 60hz will display in the...
I have had this monitor for a few days now. I'm coming from a Dell 34" U3415W, which has two upstream ports. This allowed me to easily connect a keyboard and mouse to the monitor, and have the keyboard and mouse automatically work my pc/mac when I switched display inputs.
Unfortunately this...
Does anyone know if this monitor mount supports two U3415w's? http://www.amazon.com/Ergotron-45-248-026-Stacking/dp/B0036RDOT8/ref=pd_sim_pc_10?ie=UTF8&refRID=0CCTWW86CC37CGFN1C09
It seems like it would work fine for two stacked on top of each other, but i'm not sure if it works side by side. I...
Fuck it, I ordered a second one. I was going to return the one I bought at Fry's for full-price anyways since it has a dead pixel in the center of the screen.
Thanks all for the responses earlier. I picked up a U3415W from Fry's today, but it looks like it has a bright green pixel stuck in the center of the screen.Bummer.
Also, regarding the MHL port - can I plug an HDMI device into this?
I'm coming from a Dell U3011, which has two hdmi ports, two dual link DVI ports, and a displayport. Trying to wrap my head around my options here, since I currently use all but one of these.
I have a question regarding connecting two of these displays to my PC. I have an R9 290x GPU, which has the following outputs: 2x Dual Link DVI, hdmi 1.4, and 1 full size displayport.
Will I be able to connect t one of these displays via the DP->Mini-DP cable, and then daisy chain another one...
