I can pretty much guarantee its the ram.. I wouldn't reccomend getting a new board as it has the same poopy chipset. I am using Mushkin EM ram that is rated at 1.95v and it works perfectly. Good luck. :)
My Mishkin RAM came today.. that has fixed the issue with the timings and the mem speed.
The board now runs fine with the right RAM timings and speed. Mushkin EM ram is rated for 1.9v . :)
I have mine at 325 right now w/ the PCI-E at 120 . It DOES make a difference on this board.
I know this ain't much but its a lot better than before

EDIT: booting fine at 299 awesome. Any way to tell what PCI-E setting I need to go higher?
I'd happily settle for 350mhz.. the problem is we can't get above 270 mhz with the ASUS P5B-VM w/965G AND can't use DDR2-800 RAM :=/
It makes for a piece of crap.

I bought Mushkin ram rated at 1.95v to try with my ASUS P5B-VM.. the OCZ ram I am using now won't go past DDR2-667. OCZ says the ram should be able to run fine at...
Hi in my quest to find a good Conroe mATX I found this and was wondering about it Shuttle .
Its annoying that Shuttle have an 975x SFF mobo but no other major company has a decent one. Is this worth it? it looks like it retails around $450. :o
