That sounds like a good idea, I'm totally baffled with this, and I don't know much of networking, so its all the more frustrating! If I invest in a switch (not a second router) what would you recommend?

Okay tried it with as you had suggested (left the alt DNS blank and did nothing on the advcd tab) and no luck, it says default gateway is not ayvailable! Any idea why?
