    I keep reading about PSUs but I am still confused.

    Any of the Corsairs will do you well. I used to have an HX520, and it was and still remains my favorite PSU ever. If modular isn't important, be sure to look at either the 450VX or 550VX. The 450VX runs around $70 and will power your rig perfectly. :D
